I Quit my Job

I spent 2013 scaling up on tech and digital marketing at my first job, ShuttleCloud.

All the nitty-gritty details are private but the company experienced hockey-stick growth, which was pretty neat to watch. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any hockey stickage.

Throughout my tenure I made mistakes, I broke stuff, and I learned a lot. Mostly I learned what not to do, because ‘what to do’ was over my head.

I guess that’s what happens when a dumb musician with a public school education and no special skills besides an infallible ability to get people excited about something… joins your team and Codecademy on the same day.

Nevertheless I grew as a young professional and that’s enough for me.

I’m also crossing fingers for the big exit (thank you stock options).

While I still have no idea what I’m doing, I figured out how to freelance and am having a blast breaking things all over again.
