All Cars Have Maintenance

I used to drive a Chevy S10. Then a Grand Cherokee. Most recently a Caliber. They all blew up or got stolen.

I also used to have a girlfriend; a Choi, then a Lee. But they, too, blew up or got stolen.

All cars have maintenance.

The thing to demonize, though, is frivolous maintenance.

So get the Porsche, mid-lifing father. Just remember when you take it to the shop each month that your courtesy car (Nissan Sentra) will never be as nice. And you have to live with that.

Don’t look for cars (or people, careers) with no maintenance. Look for things with less.
